Interested in bidding? If you are a fully approved bidder, you can place bids by using the Bid Now button on the property’s listing display page.
Bids can be placed from a computer, iPad, or mobile phone. Bids can be placed at the Bid Increment dollar amount shown on the Listing Display Page. Bidders can also input a manual bid for any dollar amount above the dollar increment shown on the Listing Display Page—also known as a power bid. You cannot place a bid below the bid dollar increment shown on the Listing Display Page.
Bid increments typically decrease during the auction as a current bid amount approaches the market value sale range for the property. When a bid is placed within the last two minutes of the auction, the auction clock will reset to three minutes and thirty seconds to prevent sniping, which is a last-second bid.
If bid dollar increments drop within the last two minutes of the auction, the auction clock will reset to three minutes and thirty seconds. This allows all bidders an opportunity to keep bidding and/or increase their current bid.
If the Listing Display Page flashes “Next Bid Meets Reserve”, the auction clock will reset to five minutes, and the next bid will trigger Reserve Met. When the Listing Display Page displays “Reserve Met”, the current bid amount has met a desired market price that the seller has accepted, indicating the property will trade.
After the property has met the reserve, bidding will remain open and continue until the auction clock winds down.
